The Fraser Valley Regional Library wants you!

The Friends of the Library Society are currently looking for a few volunteers to watch over the Little Library kiosk in Pioneer Park.

“They just need a someone or two who would be willing check it a few times a week to tidy it up if it gets muddled, and let us know if it needs a restock,” The Agassiz Library staff stated.

The Little Library kiosks – located in Pioneer Park and Shep Park – were in the works for at least a year before they officially opened in early September. Several District of Kent dignitaries attended the opening, in which Mayor Sylvia Pranger thanked the volunteers who brought the project together.

““Without volunteers, we don’t have very much in our community, and I’m very, very grateful all the time for the many volunteers that we have in Agassiz,” she said.

Those interested in helping maintain the Little Library kiosk should contact the Agassiz Library at 604-796-9510.
