Local photographer Ryan Dyck’s footage caught the eye of local social media

Ryan Dyck shot this bird’s-eye view of the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge spanning the two communities.

The 24-minute long video offers a sweeping overhead look at the bridge itself and the surrounding autumn countryside surrounding the Fraser River.

“This bridge is a large and impressive example of an uncommon but aesthetically pleasing bridge type, the cantilever truss bridge with an arched truss shape,” the YouTube video description reads. “The plaque on the bridge references the British Columbia Toll Highways and Bridges Authority, suggesting this bridge was originally a toll bridge.”

Approaching its eighth anniversary now, Shutter Speed Network – Dyck’s YouTube channel – currently stands at 1,600 subscribers. Through the channel, Dyck offers tips, product unboxing, drone footage and filming highlights from a variety of events across the Lower Mainland.
