50-year-old pedestrian taken to hospital after collision in Abbotsford

Man suffers life-threatening injuries; driver remains on scene to cooperate

A 50-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision on Saturday (March 8).

A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision with a vehicle on Marshall Road in Abbotsford on Saturday (March 8). 

According to a news release from the Abbotsford Police Department, the 50-year-old man was taken to a trauma hospital in Vancouver.

Police say the collision occurred shortly after 7 p.m. and the driver remained on scene to cooperate. 

Per the release, an investigation with the help of the Integrated Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Service (ICARS) is in its early stages.
