The Chilliwack-Hope all-candidates forum will be a virtual one.
The Chilliwack and Harrison-Agassiz chambers of commerce, along with the Chilliwack Downtown Business Improvement Association, will co-host the event on April 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Audiences will be able to tune in via a YouTube channel, and submit questions via the Slido website one week prior to the event. Details will be shared by the Chamber in the coming days.
The Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce announced the event, which will not be open to the public in person, billing it as an "engaging and informative evening of political discussion."
The candidates will not be confirmed by Elections Canada until April 9, the day before the forum.
The event listing reminds viewers that the Chilliwack Chamber and Downtown BIA are business support organizations.
"We welcome all questions, however, questions that impact our business community will be given priority," it reads.
The Chilliwack-Hope riding now also includes the District of Kent. General voting day is set for April 28.
