Residents of Seabird Island, Agassiz and Harrison show off their Christmas spirit

The Harrison Memorial Hall is lit up for the holiday season.
David Lord sent in a photo of his decked out, yule-tide home display on Elm Road.
It might take weeks to get her Seabird Island house fully decorated but Caro Clark says it’s worth it. She writes, “It makes me happy to have everything lit up and judging by the cars I see slowing down when they go past, I think others enjoy it as well.”
Caro Clark moved her “polar bears and penguins” indoors this year, after a windstorm knocked them down last Christmas.
Caro Clark and her family are spending their second Christmas on Seabird Island after moving from Vancouver last fall.
Dean Sims decorates his Agassiz Ave home every year for “Christmas Spirit.” After the recent loss of his 17-year-old dog Madonna, Sims writes on Facebook: I have a bad anxiety disorder that stops me from a lot of things like full time work… I love helping people and just making people smile cause life sometimes causes problems…Life is a very precious so don’t take advantage of it. Just live to your best of your ability.”
