Pioneer Avenue businesses are getting a new neighbour.
Pharmasave is set to open a new location in Agassiz in the near future; a cursory online search indicates it is scheduled to open on May 15.
Signage has been installed and decals have covered the glass at 7078 Pioneer Avenue. This building was once home to Black Sea Health Food and Produce.
Pharmasave is based in Langley with more than 850 locations across the country. The chain was founded in 1981 when Western Drug Marts and United Pharmacies merged; at the time, there was a combined 92 stores between the two companies.
