A Lower Mainland act has been added to an already-packed Harrison Festival of the Arts roster.

The Harrison Festival Society announced Very Very Improv will perform during the Evening of Theatre during the nine-day festival. The improve troupe is slated for Tuesday, July 15, at 8 p.m. at Memorial Hall (290 Esplanade Ave.)

Very Very Improv is a professional theatre company from Langley, dedicated to "producing city-quality improvised comedy in the suburbs and providing more professional performing arts options for people in the Fraser Valley who want to laugh." This season's cast features 11 actors, including Second Story Theatre veteran Mikaela Myers, theatre tech turned actor  Dimitri Shields and Chlliwack's own Cliff Prang. The improv group is frequently featured at The Bez Arts Hub.

Tickets for Very Very Improv are now on sale through the Harrison Festival Society – $22 regular and $20 for student and seniors. Tickets can be purchased through harrisonfestival.com, by calling 604-796-3664 or in-person at the Ranger Station Art Gallery (98 Rockwell Dr.) just north of the Harrison Hot Springs downtown core.

This year marks the 46th annual Harrison Festival of the Arts. The 10-day multimedia celebration showcases artistry from across the Lower Mainland, B.C. and across the world, featuring music acts throughout the day and evening performances at Memorial Hall.
