Agassiz-Harrison records zero new cases of COVID-19 this past week

The first zero-case week since March

For the first time since late March, Agassiz-Harrison has reported a zero-case week for COVID-19.

According to the most recent data from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control, zero new cases were reported in the local health area between June 19 and 25. The total number of COVID-19 cases for 2022 in Agassiz-Harrison remains at 230 cases.

There are currently no reported outbreaks or exposure events.

Here are the vaccination rates in Agassiz-Harrison as of June 26:

Ages 5-11: 38 per cent partially vaccinated

Ages 5 +: 80 per cent fully vaccinated (84 per cent partially vaccinated)

Ages 12 to 17: 69 per cent fully vaccinated (73 per cent partially vaccinated)

Ages 18+: 85 per cent fully vaccinated (88 per cent partially vaccinated)

Ages 18 to 49: 78 per cent fully vaccinated (83 per cent partially vaccinated)

Ages 50+ : 90 per cent fully vaccinated (91 per cent partially vaccinated)

Ages 18-49 with booster: 35 per cent

Ages 50+ with booster: 73 per cent

Ages 70+ with booster: 82 per cent
