Agassiz RCMP investigate Canco break-in

Two men stole cigarette products before escaping

The Agassiz RCMP is investigating a break-in at an Agassiz gas station.

On Wednesday, Feb. 8, at about 3:40 a.m., police responded to a glass-break alarm at Canco Gas Station at 2406 Hot Springs Road. Two men smashed out the glass on the front door and entered the building, taking with them a variety of cigarette products.

The suspects fled before the RCMP arrived. The suspects are described as wearing dark clothing and dark hoodies; their faces were covered, and they are associated with a white Chevrolet sedan.
