A recent spike in property crime has prompted a warning from the Agassiz RCMP.
According to a statement from spokesperson Sgt. Mike Sargent, there has been a recent rise in residential break-and-enters and thefts from vehicles over the course of this past week.
“While some of the culprits have been identified and arrested, prevention remains the best way to deter and prevent these types of crime,” Sargent stated.
