A collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle has been reported in the Mount Woodside area west of Agassiz on Saturday (July 5) afternoon.

Update: 7:55 p.m.

Traffic is now cleared.

Witnesses say a car and motorcycle have collided on Highway 7 in the Mount Woodside area outside Agassiz on Saturday, July 5. 

Traffic is backing up in the westbound lane of the highway. Motorists should use care along the highway as emergency crews assess the scene. 

Mount Woodside is historically an accident-heavy area with its steep, sharp curves. There are no confirmed reports of injuries. 

B.C. Ambulance Service and the Agassiz Fire Department are on the scene. The RCMP are on the way as of 5:59 p.m.
