Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue assists injured hiker

Paramedics called in Search and Rescue for assistance during weekend

Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue was called out this past weekend to assist B.C. Emergency Health Services at Bridal Falls after a person had fallen and sustained lower leg injuries.

KHSAR reported paramedics packaged the patient as Kent-Harrison volunteers transported them down the trail to the ambulance.

Area RCMP officers were also on the scene to assist.

KHSAR reminds the public to call 911 as soon as an emergency happens. Local Search and Rescue volunteers conduct missions at the request of authorized agencies; there is no charge for Search and Rescue.
