District of Kent residents took notice of police presence in the Mount Woodside area on Monday evening.
The Agassiz RCMP responded to a residence on Mount Woodside after a report of a male experiencing what police describe as mental health issues. Officers with the RCMP Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT) attended the area and took the man safely into custody.
The Agassiz RCMP Serious Crime Unit is investigating the incident. At no time was there a risk to public safety.
