Harrison's countdown to the final by-election vote keeps on ticking
Villagers can vote in the 2024 by-election tomorrow, Sept. 11, at Memorial Hall (290 Esplanade Road) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Electors will select one candidate for mayor and one candidate for councillor. The following candidates are running:
Mayor
- John Allen
- Greg Dykstra
- Fred Talen
Councillor
- Teresa Omelus
- Mark Schweinbenz
- Gary Webster
- Ed Wood
If you have not yet registered to vote, you may do so on voting day. Qualified electors need to provide two pieces of acceptable ID – one of which must be signed – to register. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver's license, a photo B.C. Services Card, Social Insurance Number and credit or debit card.
General voting day is Saturday, Sept. 21, at Memorial Hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
