Traffic is slow in both lanes on Hot Springs Road after a single-vehicle crash.

Update: 3:50 p.m. 

The traffic appears to be flowing normally again. 


Original Story: 

Traffic is slow south of Harrison Hot Springs as a vehicle reportedly collided with a hydro pole on Hot Springs Road (Highway 9), causing the pole to fall into the road. 

Witnesses say the single SUV crashed at about 2:30 p.m. The driver appears to be uninjured and emergency personnel are on the site. 

B.C. Hydro reports no power outages in the area.
