The Harrison Hot Springs Village Council race has been called.

John Buckley (638 votes, 29.9 per cent), Allen Jackson (504 votes 23.6 per cent), incumbent Coun. Michie Vidal (440 votes 14.7 per cent) and mayor and councillor-elect Leo Facio (365 votes 17.1 per cent) have all earned a place at the table in the upcoming council term. Leslie Ghezesan trailed behind at 314 votes (14.7 per cent).

Going into election day, Buckley was, again, in the lead with 160 advance votes. Advance votes put the candidates in identical order to election day’s final results; it was Jackson, Vidal, Facio and Ghezesan, respectively.

A rough initial estimate based on vote totals and population figures from 2021 puts the turnout at about 40 per cent.
