The incident took place about 2.5 km up the road, on the east side of the lake.
An air ambulance was being called at 9:45 a.m. as crews headed to the scene. Two people were on the ATV when it crashed, and one was not wearing a helmet. Both patients were alert and standing at the scene when rescuers arrived, with minor injuries.
