Agassiz-Harrison one of three LHAs in Fraser Health to hit 70 per cent COVID immunization this week

84 per cent of adults aged 50 and older are immunized

Agassiz-Harrison remains in contention in the Mayor’s Immunization Challenge.

According to the June 17 update from Fraser Health, City of Langley, Abbotsford and Agassiz-Harrison have all recently achieved 70 per cent immunization. Delta and Port Moody/Anmore/Belcarra have all achieved 80 per cent.

As of June 14, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control states Agassiz-Harrison has achieved 71 per cent immunity of people aged 12 and older. 73 per cent of people aged 18 and older are immunized, and 84 per cent of adults aged 50 and older have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
