Cars damaged after early morning incident

Agassiz RCMP responded to reports of a four-car collision at about 1:30 a.m., in the 2800 block of Chowat Road in Seabird Island.

A 19-year-old woman was taken into custody and later released after allegedly driving a vehicle that apparently slammed into three parked cars early Thursday morning (June 9).

Agassiz RCMP responded to reports of a four-car collision at about 1:30 a.m., in the 2800 block of Chowat Road in Seabird Island.

A police spokesperson said the woman suffered no injuries.

Mounties are still investigating the early morning incident, and any witnesses are asked to contact police at 604-796-2211, or if they wish to remain anonymous can call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
