Agassiz Fire Department clear scene of motorhome fire in an hour

Fire started on Pioneer Avenue

Around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday the Agassiz Fire Department (AFD) was called to the scene of motorhome fire in the 6500 block of Pioneer Avenue, near the Agricultural Hall.

There was no one inside the home and no one was injured.

AFD cleared the scene within an hour.

Early investigations reveal a mechanical fault in the engine as the likely cause of the fire.
