Ditched semi causes traffic backup on the number one highway near Chilliwack

Traffic near the Young exit is down to a single lane as crews work to remove semi from ditch

A ditched semi caused traffic to snarl near Chilliwack on Tuesday morning.

West-bound traffic was slowed to a crawl at about 8:30 a.m. due to a tractor-trailer that ended up in the ditch just before the Yale exit.

Police were on scene as crews attempted to remove the truck from the ditch.
