Family members are asking anyone who can help to participate in a search for their missing loved one in Hope tomorrow.
April Lee-Ann Parisian was last seen just over a week ago in the Fraser Canyon community of Spuzzum. She was reported missing Wednesday and since then the family have urgently appealed for help in locating her. RCMP have also begun search efforts, including a river search by Hope Volunteer Search and Rescue Thursday.
The community search will start Saturday, April 18 at noon from Hope’s Memorial Park. Family are asking anyone who wants to volunteer to join the search party.”It’s open, I need all hands on deck, I need anybody,” said Parisian’s cousin Tammy Francis.
Anyone who comes to volunteer is being asked to keep their cell phones charged and to bring safety whistles and a high visibility vest if they have them. If anyone has extra vests they are being asked to bring those as well.

The family is working on setting up a bank account, where donations can be made to help offset the cost of gas for searchers. Francis said family members are coming from all over the Lower Mainland to help with the search. The family is also asking for donations of drinks and snacks for searchers.
Parisian is described by police as an Indigenous female with blonde hair and blue eyes, 170 cm (5 ft 7 inches) tall, weighing 127 kilograms (280 pounds.) Francis said she was last seen wearing a white blouse and blue jeans.
