Sometimes rescue aid comes from unexpected places.

Harbour Air Seaplanes stepped in last week to fly stranded travellers from Harrison Lake to downtown Vancouver. Dozens of people queued up on the float plane dock on Harrison Lake, waiting to fly out.

Harbour Air charged $80 per person.

People from a variety of agencies and organizations across B.C. have offered aid to the thousands of Fraser Valley residents affected by the historic flood.
