Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue volunteers continue to be busy as locals and visitors alike venture back into the outdoors.
KHSAR volunteers were called to assist an injured hiker on Monday (May 31) in the Hicks Lake area. B.C. Parks rangers and B.C. Ambulance Service personnel were on the scene to assist. The hiker sustained minor injuries and was transported to Chilliwack General Hospital.
On Saturday, June 5, KHSAR volunteers assisted in reaching injured parties after a side-by-side rollover on Bridal Falls Forest Service Road. B.C. Ambulance Service called KHSAR in as they were unable to reach the off-roaders. The injured parties were transported from the scene in an ambulance.

“Call for assistance as soon as possible,” KHSAR reminds the public. “There is no charge for rescue.”
