Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue workers guided a lost hiker to safety on Friday, May 7, after they took a wrong turn off-trail.
According to a brief from KHSAR, the hiker was descending from Campbell Lake when they missed a turn and ended up almost 400 metres away under hydro lines.
The hiker was located at about 9 p.m., two-and-a-half hours after the page, and guided back to the trailhead.
The KHSAR has been in operation since 1976. To learn how to volunteer or about other ways you can help, visit khsar.ca or find them on Facebook.
