Man missing after leaving hospital in Hope

Mathew Corcoran walked away from Fraser Canyon Hospital late Wednesday night

Hope RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who walked away from Fraser Canyon Hospital late Wednesday night. Mathew Paul Corcoran is a 27 year old Caucasian, described as being very thin. He weighs about 108 pounds, and 5’4″ tall with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket with a hood, zippered front and dark pants.

Corcoran lives in Kamloops but made his way down to Hope. Police believe that Mathew is wet and cold and in need of shelter. He is not considered to be a threat in any way to the public but police and Mathew’s family are very concerned for his personal safety.
