Missing 16 year old Hope girl found in Alberta

Jessica Webber no longer considered missing, say police

Jessica Janis Webber, 16, has been found in Alberta. Police issued a plea to the public in late July to help find the Hope teen.

She was last seen in Hope on July 8, and then in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. The last time she was heard from, she contacted a friend on July 17 to confirm she was in Alberta.

A police statement noted that Webber “lives a high risk lifestyle and has gone missing on several occasions.”

But she had not contacted her family in a long time, spurring the public plea.

Webber attended the Lethbridge RCMP detachment on Tuesday, August 7, and is no longer considered missing.
