Polaris stolen from Agassiz driveway worth $9,000

Agassiz RCMP are requesting the assistance of the general public in locating a Polaris, Razor 800 model, Utility Terrain Vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from a residence in the 1400 block of McDonald Road on Jan. 13.

The vehicle was parked on a trailer in the owner’s driveway. The owner believes that the theft may have occurred around 1:40 a.m. The vehicle was unlicensed and the keys are with the owner. The vehicle is valued at $9,000.

“The vehicle identification number of the Polaris has been entered onto our national police data base” advises Cpl. Len vanNieuwenhuizen. “Should anyone attempt to buy or sell this vehicle it will be identified as stolen.”
