Mountain, 33, was wanted for possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon with ammunition, driving while prohibited, and failure to comply with recognizance.

He has an extensive criminal record for various offences including theft, drug trafficking, and assault.

The Agassiz RCMP had been looking for Mountain in the Agassiz and Chilliwack area over the summer, and initiated a massive police response at the Cheam First Nation in August in response to reports that Mountain was there.
