RCMP release sketch of suspect in Agassiz break-ins

RCMP are circulating a sketch of a suspect involved in a series of break-ins in Agassiz.

According to a release, Agassiz RCMP received reports on Nov. 27 of a series of break-ins in the 1700-block of Evergreen Drive.

During the police investigation that followed, witnesses noted the suspicious behaviour of a man who appeared out of place in the neighbourhood.

“As part of our investigation a forensic artist met with witnesses to produce a composite drawing of a suspect,” Sgt. Mike Sargent said in the release. “Investigators are reaching out to the public to assist in identifying the person.”

Anyone with information to identify the subject in the sketch is urged to contact the Agassiz RCMP at 604-796-2211, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
