Surrey teen, last seen in Chilliwack, located safe and sound

RCMP appealed for public assistance Wednesday evening for help in locating the 15-year-old

A 15-year-old reported missing from Chilliwack has been located and is safe, RCMP confirmed Thursday morning.

Police appealed for assistance in locating the young woman on Wednesday evening. Normally a resident of Surrey, the youth was last seen Monday at 6 a.m. at the 9400 block of Menzies Street in Chilliwack.

She is “safe and sound” according to a statement from the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP. Police thanked the public and the media for their assistance.
