RCMP seek help finding missing woman

The RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Reta Yvonne Smith of Chilliwack.

Reta Yvonne Smith was last seen Dec. 1.

The RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Reta Yvonne Smith of Chilliwack.  The 26-year-old was last seen on Dec. 1 by caregivers in the 45000-block of Menholm Road.

She  is described an aboriginal female. weighing 56 kg (123 lbs) and standing 152 cm (5 feet). Smith has black and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a long grey jacket, black tights and white and black striped shoes

As RCMP investigators continue to search for Smith, they are asking the public throughout the Upper Fraser Valley to remain watchful for her.

“Police and caregivers are concerned for Reta’s wellbeing and believe she may be in need of medical attention,” says Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reta Yvonne Smith is urged to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or, should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
