Rockin’ River now underway

The three-day festival started Thursday with thousands of music lovers coming to Mission

The fifth annual Rockin’ River Music Festival kicked off Thursday night with a slate of talented musicians playing for thousands of appreciative fans.

The Juno Award winning Canadian rock band Trooper was the main show Aug. 15, and they were preceded by Brent Lee, Merv Tremblay and Gabby’s Girls.

The event is being held at Mission Raceway Park and continues until Saturday night.
