Only one new case of COVID-19 has been reported in Agassiz-Harrison between March 27 and April 2.
The latest information from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control indicates much of Fraser Health has seen relatively few cases of COVID-19 in recent weeks. Agassiz-Harrison COVID-19 numbers have been at or near zero for the past three weeks, and the local health area has not seen the double digits for roughly two months. There has been a total of 199 cases of COVID-19 to date this year.
During this time last year, there were 14 cases of COVID-19 in Agassiz-Harrison. There are no recent reported outbreaks or exposure events in the area.

Vaccination rates in Agassiz-Harrison are gradually climbing week by week, usually one or two age groups at a time. The following are the vaccination rates as of April 5 (the changes are highlighted in bold):
Ages 5-11: 38 per cent partially vaccinated
Ages 5 +: 79 per cent fully vaccinated (84 per cent partially vaccinated)
Ages 12 to 17: 68 per cent fully vaccinated (73 per cent partially vaccinated)
Ages 18+: 85 per cent fully vaccinated (88 per cent partially vaccinated)
Ages 18 to 49: 78 per cent fully vaccinated (83 per cent partially vaccinated)
Ages 50+ : 89 per cent fully vaccinated (91 per cent partially vaccinated)
Age 50+ with booster: 71 per cent
Ages 70+ with booster: 80 per cent
