Police looking for suspect in multiple thefts to Agassiz businesses

Agassiz RCMP said they are actively investigating a rash of break enters that have occurred over the last two weeks in the downtown area of Agassiz.

The individual has been gaining entry to the business and appears to be looking mainly for cash, they said.

Anyone who has seen anything or anybody suspicious are asked to call the Agassiz RCMP detachment at 604-796-2211.

Sgt. Falebrinza would like to remind local businesses to make sure that all floats are locked up and that your business is secured.

“We are a small community and it is important that we all work together to find the person responsible for this crime,” he said.
