The Fraser-Cascade School District announced all schools in the district would be closed Wednesday (Feb. 13) and buses would not be running.

The Fraser Cascade school district has called its first snow day of the year, although most other schools across the Lower Mainland are going on their third snow day; Chilliwack is on their second snow day.

Seabird Island Community School and Sts’ailes Community School are also closed Wednesday, as is Seabird College.

Agassiz Christian School is also closed Wednesday, after a snow day on Tuesday as well.

The Environment Canada snowfall warning for Agassiz ended Wednesday morning, although it expects a wind chill of minus 20 Thursday morning.
