Why stuff a stocking when you could stuff a police car?
The annual Stuff the Cruiser event is set for Saturday (Dec. 4) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the SuperValu in Agassiz.
The Agassiz RCMP is collecting non-perishable food items, new toys and cash donations in support of Agassiz-Harrison Community Services. All items collected will go toward feeding families in need in the community.

Stuff the Cruiser was cancelled last year due to COVID-19 and pandemic-related restrictions. However, the local RCMP detachment continued to collect donations for the food bank. The year before, Agassiz-Harrison donors stuffed the cruiser with 1,020 pounds of food and $1,500 in cash donations.
Members of the Agassiz Speedway are teaming up with the RCMP by holding a bottle drive on the same day. Proceeds will also go directly to the AHCS food bank. Barbara Ten Bos said last year’s bottle drive raised more than $1,700.
