In recent months, Boston Bar has seen a rise of alcohol sales issues, according to Cst. Evelyne Jean.

The Boston Bar RCMP have seen an increase in issues related to supplying minors with liquor or selling alcohol without the proper permits.

“Being a smaller community, I believe it is imperative to discuss this topic,” Jean told the Boston Bar/North Bend newsletter. “This situation has been addressed accordingly, but as police officers, we need to be informed if this happens. It can be dealt with immediately.”
