Depression is a common illness affecting many individuals and families. This Sunday, June 4, the Sixth Annual Agassiz Harrison Defeat Depression Walk takes place in Harrison Hot Springs. This family-friendly event is held to promote awareness and raise funds used to provide critical supports and services to families within the community affected by depression and other mental health issues.
Seventy five percent of monies raised stay within the community. This year the Walk has partnered with Agassiz Harrison Community Services and The Help Project.
This is a free event but any and all donations are gratefully accepted and all donations of $25 or more receive a tax receipt.
Events kick off at 11 a.m. with the first speaker of the Wellness Toolbox, Elizabeth Mueller.
