Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 17 of the Woodlot Licence Planning and Practices Regulation, that a Woodlot Licence Plan has been prepared for Sq’ewlets First Nation for Woodlot 1435. Woodlot 1435 is located on Mount Woodside with some areas of the Woodlot on the Sq’ewlets First Nation Reserve. If approved the Woodlot Licence Plan will apply for a term of 10 years from the date of approval.
The proposed Woodlot Licence Plan consists of a written document and map which provides for general update and revision of the current Woodlot Licence Plan and addresses strategies, standards and practice requirements pertaining to woodlot management. Comments received will be considered prior to final submission to the Ministry of Forests.
