Alfred Vint Mawhinney

April 2, 1950 - January 4, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alfred Vint Mawhinney, age 72 in Chilliwack, BC.
Alfred is survived by his brother William (Bob) Robert Mawhinney, his nephews and nieces David (Julie), Shannon, Candace (Brian), James (Michelle), Patricia (Steven), as well as many great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Bessie (Balfour) Mawhinney, brother James Mawhinney, sister in law Kay Mawhinney (West), sister Benita Mitchell (Mawhinney) and brother in law James Mitchell.
Alfred was born in Vancouver and had many fond memories of growing up in East Vancouver.
He was a skilled carpenter by trade and loved to watch home renovation shows in his retirement, meet friends for coffee at McDonalds and visit his four legged friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
