Arthur Owen Brookes

Arthur Owen Brookes died peacefully Monday, May 27 at the age of 91 years in Chilliwack, B.C. with 4 family generations in the room.
He is survived by children, Victoria (Brian Harding), Terry (Diane), James (Vera) and Scott (Nina), 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Born in Burnaby, B.C. to Owen and Frances Brookes. He was the last surviving sibling of Evelyn, Mary, Norm, Ray, Bev and Frank. He missed them all, and especially his wife Helen. She was proud to say that Art built both of the homes that they shared in their 68 years of life together.
There will be a celebration of his life at Agassiz United Church, 6860 No. 7 Highway on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1 pm. Donations may be made in his memory to the SOS Children's Village BC and Chilliwack Hospice Society.
