Ellen passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home after a very pleasant time over Christmas with all her family gathered around. She leaves behind Husband, dance partner, and business partner Gordon, Daughter Roseanne (Wayne), and Son Robert. Grand Children Crystal (Scott), Nicki (Travis), Shane (Ashley), Jamie, Preston, Bobby, and Melissa (Shawn). Also 3 Great Grand Children Khloe, Jayson, and Brooke.

She is survived by sisters Bonnie Wagar, Rose Stone, and brother Ed Edey (Loraine). Don and Louine Sciotti and Yvonne & Doug Lacey, Daughter in Laws Leanne and Denise. Many nieces and nephews reside all throughout B.C. and Alberta.

Ellen was a lady who loved to dance and she & Gord could be found at any dance in Agassiz, but especially The Legion on any night with a band! Ellen was a very active member of Kent Raceways where she was part of the support team for racing. She won multiple awards for her service from 1975 through 1985. She also won a few Powder Pu races and was 1 of only a few Lifetime Honorary Memberships.

Ellen was very active in the early years of Modern Tire + Towing, and Sam's Place Chevron. She semi retired after the A&W was built but kept busy with a long list of her special projects until severe arthritis and replaced joints showed her up.

Ellen was predeceased by her middle son Rick in 2016 and whom she missed greatly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, most likely in April - May when travel from out of town is not a problem.

Further notice will be posted closer to the date chosen.
