July 17, 1939 - September 11, 2019
Frank was born in Wainwright, Alberta on July 17, 1939 to Jack and Mae (Bushey) Boizard. Frank is survived by his loving wife Sonya and three generations of loving offspring. Daughter Tracy (Albert), son Darcy, daughter Terrie, daughter Kelsey (Andrew) many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and "adopted" family. He was predeceased by his parents and brother John.
He spent his early years in Wainwright and then moved to Edmonton. In 1973 big money tempted him to move to British Columbia so he packed up his three children and headed west settling in Surrey. He married Sonya Semeniuk in 1974 and in 1982 they added a fourth child to their blended family. He worked for Cigas Propane as a Gasfitter, and as the industry changed he worked for several companies ending with Superior Propane in 1998. Retirement saw Frank and Sonya move to Harrison Hot Springs where he remained very active working part time as a Gasfitter, serving on Harrisburgh Strata, volunteering for Sandcastles and as Staff Captain at Harrison Yacht Club. He loved his garden, specialty plants and travelling. His generous spirit and positive attitude were an inspiration to all.
The family wishes to thank Dr. S.Larsen and Dr. M. Melnyk and all the staff
of 5N-Chilliwack General Hospital for their loving care of Frank.
