PEARSON, Glenda Jean

December 22, 1947 – October 7, 2016

With deep sadness, we say farewell to our “Princess”, after a long 29 year battle with Marfans Syndrome. Glenda is survived by her loving son Mark Doerr, her life partner Norma Jean Boisvert, sister Marlene MacKay (Sherwin), Rick Pearson (Linda), nieces & nephews Shelley, Lee, Sherry, Susan and Clinton. Direct descendants also include the Bennetts and Eatons, especially Margo and Barb. Extended family, Dave and Lynn Leach, Rob and Juli Dyck, Marcel and Karen Boisvert, Tom and Jennifer Spratt, and Diane Boisvert. She loved the little ones; Sophie, Brody, Jocelyn and Hunter. Glenda was predeceased by her father and mother Tom & Fae Pearson, nephew Steven MacKay, and cousins Sherry Pedersen, Leonard Boisvert, Sue Helfer, Jerry Boisvert and Adele Worst. Born in Vancouver, living also in Kelowna, Chilliwack and Agassiz. Glenda loved working at the Harrison Hotel. Her career spanned from the mid 1960’s through to 1987, starting as a room attendant, and finishing as an Executive Housekeeper. She spent her remaining years with her greatest passion – Home and Family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rosedale United Church
