Jean passed away at the Dr. Al Hogg Pavilion, Peace Arch Hospital on January 27th, 2022 at the age of 91 years.
Jean was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 24, 1930.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Earl Joseph Way, and survived by five children: Douglas Way of Abbotsford, Deborah Carlson and Doris (John) Fulgham of Cloverdale, David (Oriya) Way of Richmond and Donald (Louanne) Way of Victoria; 9 grandchildren: Aaron, Cassie, Mike, Chris, Donyne, Desirae, Jessica, Jennifer and Devin; three great-grandchildren: Bentley, Braxton and Logan (and one more on the way); and a brother Melvin and sister Evelyn.
She enjoyed bowling, bingo, singing and sharing a good laugh.
To celebrate Jean's life, a memorial service will take place at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Vedder View Cemetery (44675 Watson Rd, Chilliwack) in the Wall 1 Court 35 Legion Section.
