August 29, 1959 - May 19, 2025

Judith Carol "Judy" Curdie, 65, of Chilliwack, BC, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025. Born in Vancouver, BC, on August 29, 1959, Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Judy Blair and a cherished sister to Cheryl Nepomuceno, Michael David, and Krista Taormina.

Above all else, Judy dedicated her life to being a fabulous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her loving husband, Mel Curdie, and their three devoted children: Jen Pillipow, Cassie Curdie, and Robbie Curdie - and her cherished grandchildren who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. She was an adored grandmother who created countless cherished memories and laughter-filled moments for all who knew her.

Judy will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, cheerful spirit, non-judgmental nature, wise counsel, and unmatched sense of humor. Her warmth and authenticity defined every interaction, brightening the lives of so many along the way.

A passionate fan of hockey and tennis, Judy spent many joyful hours cheering on her favorite players and sharing her enthusiasm with family and friends. She supported all her children's and grandchildren's interests - often taking them on as her own. From Pokémon Go, to being a hypnosis guinea pig, to following tennis matches and beyond, she was always engaged and wholeheartedly present.

Judy exemplified what it means to love unconditionally. Her presence leaves an irreplaceable space in all our hearts.

In her loving memory and in honor of her enduring kindness, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be deeply appreciated by the Curdie family.

She loved butterflies, wind chimes, and rainbows. When you see one, think of her -she'll be near.
