Nov 14, 1925 - Jan 22, 2018
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Elizabeth Dyer on Jan. 22, 2018. Born on November 14, 1925 to May and Oliver Hubbard, the 13th of 15 children, she grew up and lived in Agassiz her entire life of 92 years. She will be remembered as a sweet, feisty lady with a heart of gold. Her siblings called her "Squirt"!

In 1946 Marge married Evan Redfern Probert and they had two children, Rick and Linda. Shortly thereafter Evan succumbed to Tuberculosis.

In 1956 she married her second husband Earle John Dyer, and their son John was born in 1961. They went on to enjoy 61 years of marriage. Marge and Earle were inseparable and especially enjoyed dancing at the legion on Saturday nights and curling at the Friendship House with their numerous friends.

Marge worked hard throughout the years, starting as a waitress at the Hotel Bella Vista, a clerk at the local jewelry department store, and finally, as a seamstress at a local decorating business.

Marge, alongside Earle, enjoyed her gardening, loved to read, made the best pies and bread in town, and had a creative side that was expressed in a multitude of hobbies. Most of all Marge fiercely loved her family and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Predeceased by first husband Evan Probert, 12 sisters, and 2 brothers, she will be lovingly remembered by husband Earle Dyer; Eldest son Rick Probert, youngest son John Dyer (Barbara) and grandson Mark; Daughter Linda Underwood (Terry) and 3 grandsons, David (Kathy), Steven (Denise), Tyler (Meghan) as well as 7 great grandchildren; Conner, Carson, Nicola, Cooper, Kaitlyn, Kenzie, and Zella Underwood.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the All Saints Anglican Church in Agassiz, starting at 11am.

A memorial tea will take place at Cheam Village from 1-3 pm.
