It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Mom's journey has come to an end, she fought hard against the Cancer right to the end. Mom passed away, as she wished, at home with her family.
Mom was born in Calgary, AB, but lived most of her life in Chilliwack and anyone who had the privilege to know her knew she was a very kind, loving and generous person, she opened her heart and home to many over the years. Mom was very hardworking and many would remember her from Canton Garden where she worked for over 30 years.
Mom had one true love in Frisco, they met when she was 12 years old in Hope, BC and loved each other deeply, they loved to dance, they loved to listen to Santana and Elvis. Myra leaves behind her daughters Mamey (Danny), Tracey (Laurie); and son Thomas.
Grandchildren: Ryan, Dakoda (Mila), Terrance (Maranda), Joseph (Georgina) Great Grandchildren: Kiara, Oliver, Demetris, Kiy, Sequoia, Dontah, Malakai, Zoey. Myra was predeceased by her husband Frisco, son Rueban, son Kevin, sister Karen (Winkie), mother Hamida, father John.
Due to the current situation with Corona Virus a Celebration of mom's life will be held at a later date.
