ROWELL, Nancy Millet (nee Malkin) born in Vancouver, December 13th, 1918, daughter of the late J.P.D Malkin & G.M. Malkin. Passed away peacefully in Langley on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frederick and daughter, Diana. She leaves behind 3 sons: Philip, John (Judy), Stephen (Margaret), 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was a devoted mother and
enthusiastic volunteer. Never wanting to be in the limelight, she always gave unselfishly of her time behind the scenes to the Vancouver Olympic Club (VOC), CNIB, Cultus Lake United Church Camp, Agassiz-Rosedale Historical Society and Psi Upsilon Ladies Auxiliary.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at Langley United Church, 5673 - 200th Street at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 30th, 2007. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Canadian
Cancer Society.
